Running is a gift. Give back with Cause I Run. Coming soon, you'll find information on the first round of causes we're partnering with.
Running is a gift, and each time you head out on the road, trail, or track, you have the opportunity to give back. Cause I Run will donate 10% of each purchase to one of our three charity partners. We're starting with three organizations helping women + girls around the world, because we believe that when women succeed, everyone benefits. You'll get to decide which of the three organizations your donation will fund.
- Hope Through Health is a nonprofit organization operating primarily in Togo (a country in West Africa) focusing on providing a range of healthcare services and healthcare training driven by communities' specific needs.
- Free to Run is a non-governmental organization dedicated to helping women and girls in conflict-affected communities safely participate in sports. Read more on the blog.
- Planned Parenthood Action Fund is a nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy organization working to advance access to sexual health care and defend reproductive rights.
Featured Charity Partnership: Hope Through Health
Hope Through Health provides healthcare services to communities in Togo, a country in West Africa near Ghana and Nigeria. According to Hope Through Health, 5 million people in the country lack access to adequate healthcare services. Founded in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in 2004, Hope Through Health now provides a range of healthcare services driven by communities' specific needs.
From prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV to broad maternal and child health services, Hope Through Health empowers communities by bringing them into the conversation, listening to their needs, and responding to patient priorities. Employing women as community health workers in their own communities is just one way that Hope Through Health improves health and drives sustained change.
